A How-To Guide for Hosting Successful Online Adjudicated Events

We are excited to share with you the latest guide from MTNA designed to help local and state affiliates successfully plan and execute associational music festivals or competitions as virtual events.

The new resource is “A How-To Guide for Hosting Successful Online Adjudicated Events.” In this guide, you’ll find specific suggestions and best practices for collecting online registrations and payments, scheduling and communication, pre-recorded and live virtual event planning, collecting music scans for adjudicators, and dividing work among volunteers.

The guide was developed by Ryan Greene, MTNA Director of Membership Development and Affiliate Relations, who consolidated the "best of the best" processes and procedures utilized by local and state affiliates as well as from our own experiences hosting online MTNA events. The result is a compendium of superior methods for the efficient and effective online transformation of your festivals and competitions.

We are confident that the new guide will reduce the workload of your time-challenged volunteers and better ensure success. We will continually update the guide, so please share with us how you and your association have met the online challenges of your online events.
